The Last Airbender

DC- This movie we thought was a 2 for 20 movie, granted I never watched the show so as to it being as good as that I don't know. The graphics were good and the acting was as well but to be honest it was really long and it didn't need to be. I really wish that M. Night did a lot less talking and less wide angle shots. With those minimized the movie could have been less than 2hrs long, had better flow, and there would be room for more action and character building. It was disappointing to us that the whole movie you just want to see Aang bend the elements in more actions scenes.M. Night did a great job at building up to a sequence of "bending" and fighting but then the scene is short and disappointing and then more talking ensues.Noah Ringer who played Aang did an amazing job! From what I have seen of the show he looked almost identical. Rathbone of course did a good job, he added a lot of humor to scenes where he was about to get his butt kicked by people who could bend the elements. All- in-all the movie was alright, not bad, just would not buy it brand new and probably could have waited to see it on DVD versus the theatre.
