Just Wright
Just Wright I bought 2 for 20 and this could have been a possible buy brand new. I did not get a chance to see this in the theaters but when I watched it at home I wish I had. Queen Latifah and Common were perfect in this movie together, there was just the right amount of tension between the two of them to make the story line plausible. Granted it is a very predictable movie but the dialogue and characters are great to watch and follow. The story follows Latifah's character as she is trying to find love, fix her house, and move forward in her training career; her cousin played by Paula Patton who is a jobless trust fund baby trying to land herself a rich basketball husband. Common's character plays for the NY Nets and falls in love with Patton, until he gets injured and might not be able to play again. The story goes around in realistic circles, there are many ups and downs and the female characters hold their own which was very nice to see. There are cameos from other famous actors with in this movie and over all it was worth buying or at least renting to see it. There was a lot of good acting, storyline, and direction throughout the movie and never a dull moment.
