Drop Dead Fred

Drop Dead Fred is one of my favorite movies of all time. I am suprised that my parents let me watch it as a child but as I have grown up the jokes are funnier than before and a lot more dirty. The movie stars Phoebe Cates, Carrie Fisher, Rik Mayell, Marsha Mason, Ron Eldard, and Tim Matheson. Cates plays a young woman named Elizabeth "Lizzie" who is getting a divorce from her husband Charles (Matheson) and her over bearing mother (Mason) comes to take her home. When she gets there she discovers her old imaginary friend Drop Dead Fred (Mayell). With Drop Dead Fred everything is a game and he brings Lizzie out of her comfort zone and helps her discover her "inner Fred". There is a lot of great humor in this movie that will keep you laughing for days and leave you with a lot of quotes you will repeate. It is a good addition to any movie collection and enjoyable to watch again and again.
