Due Date
Due Date was a 2 for 20 there was nothing in there that really wow'd us about the movie it was very typical and predictable. Most of the funny parts were in the previews as per usual today, on the positive there were plenty of funny parts that would never be allowed on TV so it evened out. Robert Downey Jr. and Zach Galifianakis worked so well together, both playing their typical roles Downy's playing the controlling angry character where Galifianakis was the passive simple minded character. This movie slightly reminded me of Planes, Trains and Automobiles with John Candy and Dan Aykroyd, where Galifianakis is playing Candy's role and Downey is playing Aykroyd's. Due Date kept us interested in the progression of the characters and there are some parts where Galifianakis shows acting abilities we knew he had haven't seen. Jamie Foxx and Juliet Lewis had cameos in the movie both doing an excellent job, especially Lewis she had us both hysterical. This movie was very good and the best part was it was only 94min long so there was no over kill in watching it and it ended on a great note.
