The movie is the true story of Antwone Fisher portraid by Derek Luke. Antwone Fisher is in the Navy and is told to talk to a psychologist for his anger issues or he will be kicked out, Washington is the psychiatrist Dr. Jerome Davenport. As Antwone opens up about his past to Dr. Davenport the movie flashbacks to those moments then back to reality where he is in love with a Navy girl. Antwone Fisher is a film that will stay with you long after it has been watched. His life is full of hardships, misdirections, and death it is a miracle he was able to make it past 16 years old. Davenport is able to get Fisher to talk to him about is past and try to make sense of why life has dealt him this hand. This movie is one of a kind and is so moving.
