Legends of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole

The movie was a 2 for 20 it was a good movie but not worth spending $20+ on it. Jim Sturgess, Geoffrey Rush, and Helen Mirren are just a few of the many well known actors and actresses giving their voices to this film. Legend of the Guardians is based on the first three books by Kathryn Lasky, The Capture, The Journey, and The Rescue. The graphics on this movie were superior, we have never seen such detail in an animated film thus far; there was a lot of slow motion parts that accentuated every droplet, every lick of fire, and every feather. The movie itself followed an owlet and his brother though a journey of right and wrong choices and where it will take them. One of the owlets willingly stays with his captors and the other escapes to find the Guardians in hopes to save other owlets from a horrible fate called "moon-blinking". The movie follows both of their journeys and then the convergence of them and how good defies evil, the movie ends open ended and there will most likely be a sequel. This movie was sort of like an owl Lord of The Rings mixed with Harry Potter, it might have been to scary for little children but for those that are old enough to know it's not real the movie would have been entertaining.
