The Other Guys

What can be said about the movie The Other Guys? It was a a toss up between 2 for 20 and buy brand new It is a classic Will Ferrell film, there is a lot of stupid humor and physical comedy. It was a spoof on all cop/action movies that have ever come out. Of course Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Jedi Master Samuel L. Jackson are the two rebel cops who drive a muscle car and cost the police department a lot of money but yet get all the publicity for capturing the bad guys. Ferrell and Wahlberg on the other hand are two paper pushing cops who do not get to see any action. Ferrell's character is way funny he is a super nerdy cop who transferred over from accounting, come to find out that he is a the one getting all these hot women. Wahlberg on the other hand is super annoying angry cop who is in love with a woman (and possibly stalks her a little) and she doesn't want anything to do with his angry and negative being. Michael Keaton was in this movie as the police chief who holds a part time job at Bed Bath and Beyond to support his bi-sextuallity son in college. The story line was surprisingly good and the end was not completely predictable. The main downfall of the whole movie was there were parts that could have been cut down, they just seemed to drag on and on. Over all it was a great movie would see it again a lot of one liners that can be used over and over for instance how they use "Fresh Start" and Febreze. Watch this movie and enjoy the random humor of Will Ferrell
