The Switch

We think this movie rates at buy brand new. Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman have an amazing chemistry in this romantic comedy. These two are best friends and have a long history together but it never became sexual. It is evident in the beginning of the movie that Jason Bateman's character Wally is a neurotic realist, as he likes to call himself, really he is just a negative person with a severe case of hypochondria. Aniston's character, Kassie, is a outgoing positive person who is always looking at the silver lining in life who realizes that she is running out of time to have a baby. Juliet Lewis is her best girlfriend and decides to throw her a party, at this particular party Bateman gets completely hammered. As the storyline goes his "seed" ends up being used to inseminate his best friend, Aniston moves away before the baby is born, seven years later she comes back and what do you know the kid is JUST like Bateman. Jeff Goldblum is also in the movie playing Bateman's boss and confidant, Goldblum tells him to confess to Aniston and revel his love for her.The movie all together was great, they casted the little boy perfectly as well as the rest of the cast. The movie was very realistic. There was no Bateman taking off of work to sit on his couch and drink beer like in most movies, he went on with his daily life pretending like everything was OK at work then breaking down at the gym or home. Aniston's character was the same she did not do the big screaming fight with Bateman in the end she did a more natural reaction. There was nothing forced in this movie it all flowed very well from one situation to another and circle back around. That is why we gave this a buy brand new because there are so few movies out there that gives realism.
